OSMH and Lakehead - Orillia partner for mayoral debate

(Thursday, October 7, 2010 - Orillia, ON) – Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) and Lakehead University – Orillia announced today they will co-sponsor a mayoral debate on Wednesday, October 20, at 7:00 pm at Lakehead’s newly opened academic building at 500 University Avenue in Orillia. The focus of the debate will be healthcare and education.


The debate takes place just five days prior to the municipal election on Monday, October 25. All three candidates vying for Orillia’s top job, Ralph Cipolla, Tim Lauer and Angelo Orsi have confirmed their attendance.
