(Tuesday, December 8, 2015 - Orillia, ON) – The Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) Foundation’s campaign for digital mammography is gaining momentum, thanks in part to a generous contribution from HGR Graham Partners LLP Orillia.

The donation of $10,000 was made in support of the campaign led by Gini Stringer, a community leader and mother leading the fight against cancer.

“We were extremely moved by Gini’s inspirational story and are delighted to support the purchase of a new digital mammography machine,” said Kellie Beasley, HGR Graham Partners LLP.  “As proud supporters of this important cause, we would like to extend a friendly challenge to businesses in our community to join in and support the campaign.”

Digital mammography is the newest advancement in breast screening technology and allows radiologists to manipulate and enhance images so abnormalities can be easily identified. The cost of a digital mammography machine is approximately $700,000.
