Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) has several parking options for you, depending on your length of stay. We’ve outlined the main options below to help you.

Plan Your Visit: Parking & Construction Updates

Construction and infrastructure improvements are underway to enhance parking, safety, and site conditions. Hospital access remains open throughout the project, but parking availability may be affected.
Please allow extra time to park and reach your destination.

July 24, 2026 – Update

Temporary Closure of West Entrance Vehicle Access

July 27 to October 2026

The West Entrance roundabout at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital will be closed to all vehicle traffic from July 27 through October 2026 to accommodate retaining wall replacement work.

Pedestrian access to the West Entrance will remain available throughout construction.

Please Use the Main Entrance For:

  • Dialysis patient drop-off and pick-up
  • Obstetrical patient drop-off and pick-up
  • Paediatric patient drop-off and pick-up

Important Exceptions

  • Evening Dialysis patient pick-up (11 p.m.) will continue at the West Entrance.
  • Patients in active labour should use the designated short-term parking space outside the West Entrance.
  • Accessible parking spaces at the West Entrance will remain available.

Volunteers and OSMH team members will be available to assist patients and visitors with wayfinding.

Parking Information

Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) offers several convenient parking options for patients, families, caregivers, and visitors.

Please note: An ATM is available in the Main Lobby.

Visitor Parking

The main visitor parking lot is located off Dunlop Street and is reserved for patients, families, and caregivers.

Rates

  • $3.00 per 30 minutes
  • Daily maximum: $12.50
  • Weekly and monthly passes available
  • Discounted multi-day passes available (Coming Soon)

When entering the lot, please take your parking ticket with you. Payment can be made before exiting at any of the three pay stations located:

  • Main Lobby
  • Basement level Accessible Parking Entrance
  • Visitor Parking Lot

Payment methods accepted include cash, debit, and credit card. Credit card payments can also be made at the exit gate.

Short-Term Pay & Display Parking

A limited number of Pay & Display parking spaces are available:

  • Outside select hospital units
  • Along Mississaga Street
  • Along Volunteer Drive

Pay at the nearby pay station and display the receipt on your dashboard with the expiry time visible. Accessible parking spaces are available in these areas.

Patient Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Convenient drop-off and pick-up areas are located at:

  • Main Entrance (Dunlop Street entrance loop)
  • West Entrance (Mississaga Street) for:
    • Inpatient Paediatrics
    • Birthing Services
    • Dialysis
  • Outpatient and Mental Health Clinics (Mississaga Street)

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available near hospital entrances.

A valid MTO Accessible Parking Permit must be clearly displayed. Vehicles parked in accessible spaces without a valid permit may be ticketed or towed.

Standard Parking Rates

Multi-Day Passes – Coming Soon!

Multi-day passes include unlimited in-and-out privileges and are valid for one year from the purchase date and can be purchased at the hospital gift shop during operating hours.  Operating Hours – Monday to Friday – 8-4pm, Saturday 9am-1pm.

Alternative Parking Options

Additional parking is available in privately operated lots located across from the hospital on Mississaga Street and Colborne Street.
