During your stay, you may incur some additional costs not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) or other insurance such as crutches or some casts. When this occurs, Soldiers’ will keep track of the charges and provide an invoice at discharged and send one via mail.

How much will I be charged?

Prices are reviewed annually to ensure alignment with OHIP and the Ontario Medical Association.  Please refer to the invoice provided to you to review the charges and review the uninsured services and supplies price list below.

When is my payment due?

Payment can be made in real-time or after your appointment.  Your billing information and signature is needed before you leave the hospital (wherever possible).

Payment Methods

At OSMH there are many different methods for which patients can pay invoices. These are as follows;

Please have your OSMH invoice ready. You will need important information such as amount owed, charge description and the Account Number or FIN.

We accept payments using: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Interac Online.

You will receive a confirmation receipt following your payment to be maintained for your records. Any information provided is maintained strictly for payment purposes. OSMH does not use the information for any other purposes.

Refunds/Returns – please contact the OSMH Business Office at ext. 3741 regarding any refunds/returns to be issued
