COVID-19 outbreak declared on Harvie 2
(Orillia, ON) – Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH), in consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, (SMDHU), has confirmed today a COVID-19 outbreak on its Harvie 2 unit, impacting a total of 7 hospital inpatients.
Enhanced testing of all other patients and staff on the unit is now underway with isolation and outbreak management protocols in place.
The Harvie 2 unit will remain closed to visitors, while the remainder of hospital visiting is being managed under the Visitor Policy.
