Influenza A Outbreak declared at OSMH
Influenza A outbreak declared on Soldiers’ One inpatient unit at OSMH
Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH), in collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, has declared an Influenza A Outbreak on the hospital’s Soldiers’ One inpatient unit.
A total of 11 patients are connected to the outbreak. Additional testing and enhanced cleaning measures are in place. Visiting to the Soldiers’ One Unit is not permitted, unless for compassionate reasons or by Essential Care Partners.
