Credentialed staff at OSMH release video messages in support of COVID-19 vaccinations
Credentialed staff at OSMH have joined forces to help get the word out about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines by releasing a series of educational videos.
There are three videos in total, each about 10 minutes long. One focuses on the overall benefits of getting the COVID-19 vaccine, another provides specification information for those who are pregnant or planning a family that includes comments from obstetricians, paediatricians and midwives, and the third video features comments from OSMH pathologists discussing the science behind the vaccines.

“I’m extremely proud of our credentialed staff group for the leadership and example they continually set for the hospital and the community,” said Dr. Nancy Merrow, OSMH Chief of Staff.
“Originally, these videos were created for internal use, but the messages are so powerful and have been so well received, we decided to share with the community.”
OSMH credentialed staff have been actively promoting the importance of vaccination to their patients and hospital team members. At a recent Credentialed Staff Association meeting, the group passed a motion endorsing 100% vaccination for health care workers.
100% of active, credentialed staff at OSMH are compliant with the hospital’s vaccination policy that requires mandatory vaccination unless otherwise exempt.
