OSMH eases masking requirements
(Orillia, ON) – Masking requirements are being eased for patients, visitors and staff at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) effective today.
Masks are still mandatory in ambulatory care waiting areas, such as the Emergency, Outpatient and Diagnostic Imaging departments, and whenever receiving direct patient care. In most other public spaces however, masking is now optional.
The changes are being implemented based on the most recent guidance from provincial experts, and with the current COVID-19 Community Risk Assessment at the Lower level.
OSMH remains a mask friendly facility and will continue to monitor trends and adjust accordingly.
